Xbox Cloud Has Floated to PC

Xbox announced that the console games can be streamed on PC now.

The news came on September 14. Now, if you have both an Xbox console and a desktop powered by Windows 10, you can stream the console games right on it. So, that means that we have two methods of streaming Xbox games on our PCs.

Method I

If you really love such Xbox exclusives as Dead Rising, God of War, Forza Horizon or Halo, but investing $500 in a new Xbox S/X isn’t part of your plans, you can get yourself an Xbox Game Pass Cloud Gaming.

This subscription unlocks access to about 100 games, which include some Xbox bestsellers, like Gears 5. It’s a game-streaming service, so you can play them on weaker hardware or even on the go.

A real downfall is that it’s available in 22 countries only. Plus, you’ll pay a monthly fee of $15, which seems like not much at first. But at some point, you may pay more than the price of an actual console.

This Pass offers a real treat for the players who treasure obscure gaming. Halo is the meat and potatoes of the library, but do you know anything about Songs of Sojourner, Two Point Hospital, or Knights & Bikes?

Method II

If you have an Xbox One console, you’re in luck. You can teleport your entire catalog on PC using the updated Remote Play.

Apart from accessing games, you can also tweak the settings, browse new games, stay in touch with your teammates, and more.

A cool know-how is that the stream quality can support 1080p and the golden standard of 60 frames per minute. In turn, it can make some of the older games shine in new colors.

What’s even better, the Remote Play is available for other platforms, including Android and iOS. Plus, it virtually has no regional limits — if one of these operating systems is legitimately supported in your country, you’re golden.
