After a rather long lull, the Pokemon Company finally got in touch. In their Pokemon Presents video, they talked about their immediate plans for the future, in particular, shared a sneak peek at the Pokémon Café Mix. A huge project update has been planned for quite a long time. Although no exact date has been announced yet, it is expected in the last quarter of this year.
Judging by the presented video, the game essence will remain unchanged. Users will still own a cafe, take orders from a wide variety of visitors, cook treats, and solve puzzles by collecting colorful items. Many players fell in love with this project precisely for its cute design, soothing atmosphere, and the opportunity to interact with their favorite cartoon characters. We will see all this in the new chapter.
As part of the upcoming update, the game will be renamed Pokémon Café ReMix. The developers will add new levels, dishes, Pokémons, and outfits for diner employees. You will see here the familiar Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Kirlia, Jigglypuff, and many others. It looks like there will be so many improvements that gamers will be able to play this edition for a very long time. While you wait for its release, brush up on your knowledge and play the original project on your smartphone or Nintendo Switch. The game is distributed free of charge, but it includes in-game purchases.
As a reminder, Pokémon Café Mix was released in 2020 and received mixed reviews from both critics and ordinary users. Despite this, the project managed to occupy its own niche. In particular, the reasons were its slow pace and low age rating, which allowed users to play it with kids. It was even nominated for Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards last year. Time will tell whether ReMix will be able to achieve greater success. Players are still waiting for the announcement of the exact release date from the developers.
