Did you think all the apps you need are already there? Each month, though, there are new ones that make your iPhone perform better. No matter if you use it for communicating, making videos, storing files, or surfing the web, there is always a new app for that. Here are the new apps of June 2021 that may make your iPhone a much more useful tool.
Capsule Private Storage
Do you need a private space on your iPhone? Capsule provides some. With it, you can hide some of your important files – documents, photos, videos – in a virtual vault that requires a password (or Touch ID / Face ID) to enter. This area is your private, which may be necessary if someone else has access to your iPhone.
Export Contacts by Covve
Contacts on your iPhone tend to pile up, so it’s hard to sift those you need. With Covve Export, not only can you export the contacts to any other app (or any of your contacts), but do it with just one tap. More than that: everything is done locally. So there is no your chance your contacts leak somewhere you don’t want them to be, unless you miss and tap the wrong icon.
Action Countdowns
More visual than just your Calendar events, easier than any paper diary. Create a reminder as a widget on your home screen, with a description and a picture you select to visualize the event. You can edit these countdowns if anything changes, change pictures, or create multiple countdowns on the screen. Well, you can even share it to others if they have this app installed too. Not a revolution, but a bit of better organization in your life.
URL X-Ray
What’s the link you’ve just received from a stranger, or from a friend who acts in a strange way? Now there’s a way to check the URL even if it’s hidden behind some of those URL shortening links. URL X-Ray visits the links in safe mode and reveals the real URLs behind them. It would be great to have it connected to, say, some phishing or malicious site databases, but it does a great work the way it is. It only features one field for pasting and one button to tap; can’t get simpler than this.
VideoNext
It can be annoying if you watch a video on social media and don’t know how long it lasts. With VideoNext, you can make your videos more watchable by adding the built-in progress bar. Then you can share it in messaging with your friends or on social media. If you edit your videos right on your iPhone (or iPad), this tool is hard to overrate.
More Apps to Come
We found these apps the most useful premieres of June 2021. Nevertheless, there are more apps that have been released or will appear during the month. If you run into one we missed, drop the name in the comments. Or, if you like the list, share it on Facebook or Twitter to your friends. Maybe, some of them will particularly want to have common reminders with Action Countdowns.
