Endless runners as a genre have outlived their glory, but some games still hold on magnificently, and Subway Surfers is the champion. Released in 2011, it’s still playable and played in 2021. The game heavily relies on keys and coins: the more of them you have collected (or bought), the more powerups and revivals you can use, and the better results you can get. There is one more way to obtain these, though, and it’s redeem codes you can enter to get rewards.
How to Enter Promo Codes
To enter your redeem code, you need an Android phone or tablet with Subway Surfers installed. If you have it, do the following:
1. Run the game.
2. Tap the “Settings” icon (as usually, it’s cog-like).
3. Scroll down till you see the “Unlock Codes” line
4. Tap “Unlock Codes”
5. Type or paste the redeem code you got.
6. Enjoy the rewards!
Alas, it’s only possible on Android devices, and there is no way to bypass this limitation.
Active Promo Codes
As for August 15, there is only one active promo code.

Entering this code will give you 8 Keys and 8,000 Coins. This is good enough to resurrect your character three times in one run and to use as many as 26 hoverboards (there are other ways to spend these coins and keys as well). We have checked it and made sure it works as it’s supposed to.
This code can only be used once on one account. Even if you have multiple Android devices with synced copies of Subway Surfers, the code won’t work when reentered.
Expired Promo Codes
On other sites, you may run into other promo codes. We will not upset you by mentioning the rewards they would give you here. What you need to know is that they all have expired. Soon, the only one will be left active, so hurry up to apply it.
How Can I Use a Redeem Code on iOS?
There is no way to use a code directly on your iPhone or iPad. Probably the publisher considers that if you have an iPhone then you don’t need to unlock codes. You can either earn your rewards (as the iPhone runs smoother) or pay for them. Neither is there a way to sync your accounts across iOS and Android. Not only does it concern unlock codes, but your overall progress and settings.
