Rumors: GTA Remastered Trilogy's Release in 2022

In mid-August, Rockstar Games was rumored to be engaged in the old game remasters, and GTA Trilogy could be released this fall. However, the analyst Tom Henderson disappointed the fans by saying that this edition should not be expected until 2022. Earlier, he hadn’t planned to disclose any information regarding the remaster but decided to dispel rumors so as not to encourage users too much.

Tom Henderson is known for inside information on repeatedly delighting games from all over the world, for example, Call of Duty and Battlefield. He has now confirmed that work on the Remastered Trilogy is indeed underway. This edition will include GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas. It is assumed that the updated version will be released immediately on Xbox One and X/S, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia. Mobile and PC editions will come later.

By the way, Rockstar has not confirmed any information about the remaster yet, although rumors about it had been circulating since early 2021. Whether to trust Tom Henderson's insider data or not is up to you. However, remember that you should treat such news with caution and shouldn't put too much hope for an early release until the developers confirm it themselves. Recall that GTA III was made back in 2001 and will celebrate its twentieth anniversary in the fall. The collection itself appeared in 2005, and fans are still waiting for a re-release to plunge into the familiar atmosphere.

As for the new parts, Rockstar Games is in no hurry to announce the GTA 6 release. Gamers suggest that it is due to the significant success of the fifth part of the franchise and the Online mode. Tom Henderson, for his part, wrote that the new game would not be released until 2025. According to him, the plot would take place in the modern world. After this message, no other data regarding GTA 6 emerged.
