Tencent Games, the company responsible for creating the mega-hit PUBG Mobile, has announced the release of a new game. They have reported about a co-op action RPG called Undawn. Although its plot is somewhat trivial (players will have to survive in a zombie apocalypse), they promise a lot of interesting features. To complete the game successfully, users will need to find and collect valuable resources, learn how to build reliable shelters, create weapons, and more. And all this will have to be done along with fighting with enemies. The threat can come from almost any creature: you will be attacked not only by zombies but also by real people.
The gameplay combines elements of two types of multiplayer: PvE and PvP. Although you can play alone, the co-op mode will give you a better chance of survival. According to the company representative, they wanted to mix the features of several genres in one game and create a game that would be something new for all platforms. The idea of Undawn giving players a fresh view on open-world survival sounds promising. The developers have not disclosed other details yet. It is known that the game was created on the same Unreal Engine 4 used for PUBG Mobile. The release is scheduled for late 2021, and the game will be available for PC and mobiles.
