Netflix continues to develop its mobile games, and they are available on iOS from the App Store now. Some of them are based on series like Stranger Things 3 and Stranger Things: 1984. When Netflix launched the first games, they were available only for Android. Luckily, the platform launched them on iOS too. Users can download them from the App Store.
The mobile games for iOS will have the same features as for Android. Netflix games are available in many languages. It chooses the one automatically from the settings in your Netflix account. You can play on several devices with one subscription. Some of the games can even be launched without an Internet connection. By the way, the games aren’t accessible from the kids' profiles.
Some Netflix mobile games will work on iOS only if you have a Netflix app. However, the company made some of them look individual. It means that even if you’re not a Netflix member, you can try a particular game. Apple has some more requirements than Android. Each game in the App Store should have its own screening. Android players can launch the games from the Netflix app, and it will be the same for iOS because there are no other ways to launch Netflix games on Apple devices. A game will open separately from the main app.
The competition between Apple and Netflix is increasing now. Netflix launches the games because a large part of its audience uses iOS devices. App Store rules might force Netflix to change its politics a little to release mobile games for iPhones. In another way, if Apple makes its requirements more strict, it might provoke a conflict.
