Minecraft One Block at a Time

Mojang has made its move on April Fools, and now many of you might regret your complaints. April first is always the day when it is hard to spot how is a potential trickster, and this time Minecraft has brought us something inherently fun. The developers presented players with a new Snapshot to the game, and now you can try to beat the vast lands of Minecraft just one block at a time.

This update may blow your mind and show an exciting way to tackle the open world. Forget about XP, crafting, and inventory, as all you have now are your hands. The player can pick one thing at a time and carry it in their hands, and if they get bored of it – just throw it away. Upon breaking a block, it will appear above your head, and you can take it with you on a grand adventure.

Moreover, the same way it works with mobs. You can’t hit them to kill and get the desired material, but you can pick them up and throw them from a big height or into a pool of lava. Of course, you won’t get any XP, but isn’t it fun picking a cow up and just making it fly from a cliff? There is no use for chest and collecting diamonds, so many probably won’t understand the point of the update. All complaints about the inventory have been heard and successfully dealt with by completely removing it from the game.

Mojang has surprised us with a great April Fool joke that might stay for long. However, the company is still all in the process of creating a new 1.19 version, called the Wild update. It will contain new biomes, mobs, and blocks, so you won’t get bored exploring the world. Unfortunately, for those of you who expected ray tracing to finally arrive on Xbox, it is time to let it go. The company has stated that this feature was a mistake that accidentally got in the preview.

Would you like to try tackling Minecraft one block at a time? Do you think this April Fool’s joke will get a lot of attention? Please, share your opinion in the comments below.
