The Microsoft Company has officially announced that the printer problem that many of the users of Windows 11 have been having has been resolved. Now, everyone can upgrade to Windows 11 22H2 without having to fear any compatibility issues.
You might recall that a serious problem with printers appeared at the end of September 2022, which caused printers to revert back to their original settings. The problem is that by default, the majority of printers' extra features are unavailable, as a result, printing in higher resolution and even color printing was unavailable to many of the users.
The issue, however, has finally been resolved after a patch came out on the 18th of November. As a result, everyone who was restricted from upgrading to Windows 11 22H2 can now easily do so.
If you have a printer that was affected by this bug, you can now safely upgrade your system to 22H2. Microsoft has stated that any printers that were affected by this bug will automatically install a patch during the upgrade to Windows 11 22H2.
It has been rough sailing for anyone who has experienced this bug but wanted to upgrade to Windows 11 22H2 since it took a very long while for Microsoft to finally fix it. It has taken nearly 2 months to address the issues, which means that it clearly wasn’t an easy problem to fix.
In the past, there were a lot of concerns about the multitude of bugs that Windows 10, and now Windows 11, has. The issues keep on popping up and it doesn’t reflect well on the overall image of Microsoft as a company.
It is our job as users to continue to sound the horn each time such an issue appears and demand it to be resolved. Hopefully, this issue, along with others will soon be a thing of the past.
