Major Update on Waze Dark Mode

Recently Google made important updates to Google Maps. The app received a new navigation mode that cares about nature. The eco-friendly tool reveals its user's route that may consume the least amount of gas, even if you have to spend slightly more time in your car. Yet, if you have to move as fast as possible, using the safest ways without traffic you can always enter your Waze app. Now, this free navigator received the Dark Mode.

It is not a secret that many users prefer Waze over Google Maps mainly because of accurate reporting of on-road incidents. Waze gathers real-time data on the traffic situation and provides it online. Many of us are devoted Waze users. If you are using the app, you may know how crucial it is for Waze to provide Dark Mode support. For now, the app offers only a poor version of it.

Dark Mode is being developed now. Waze is working on the alpha version of the app. The official date is still not revealed, but we hope it will be available soon. Dark mode became trendy since the first Android and iOS phones received it. Apps began to adapt their settings to the new modes. Yet, Waze does not have an advanced feature that works well for now.

There is also the Night Mode that changes the color on the map. You may opt between the Day and Night modes, yet the settings will stay the same. There will be no change in the entire map, and colors will stay light on the rest of the app. All you see while driving in the night is the map. It is still useful, except for the time when you want to find something on the menu. The update will be available for both Android and iOS devices. More details will be revealed soon.
