Several Caribbean musicians wrote that their songs will appear in GTA on social media. It didn’t seem like they were talking about GTA 6. This game was announced a long time ago, but it won’t probably appear before 2025. Some leaks reveal that Rockstar started the work on GTA 6 from the ground up after one of the main GTA creators, Dan Houser, left the company. As a result, the release date is still not known.
New music also won’t appear in the GTA Trilogy that is coming soon. It is clear that the performers wrote about GTA 5. The first post was made on Twitter by Tez2 who told about the Instagram publication from a Puerto Rican musician Ñejo, admitting that his music will appear in the game. Brazilian metal group Vulcano also encouraged to congratulate two Dominican artists, Rochy RD and Ceky Viciny, on Instagram. They are going to perform in GTA too.
Although musicians link to GTA 5, it hasn’t got any updates since the release. It might appear that music rights are expiring, and developers are going to add new music. It’s more possible that new songs will show up in GTA Online. This game version regularly gets upgrades. In 2021 and 2022, Rockstar announced that GTA Online will receive some significant updates. New music from the Caribbean artists can be the beginning of them.
Earlier, Snoop Dog announced that Dr. Dre was working on music for a new GTA game. It can be for GTA 6, but it’s also possible that the artist created tracks for GTA Online.
