Everyone Can Now Join Halo Infinite Beta Weekend 2

This weekend, there is a Big Team Battle test coming up. The good news is that you don’t have to join the Halo Insider program to be able to play it. Everyone has an opportunity to join, so this feature will be open to a broader audience compared to the previous tests.

All you have to do to access the test is install a free Xbox Insider Hub application. If you want, you can sign up for the Halo Insider program to be eligible for future tests, but this is not a requirement. As the name of the app suggests, it is currently available only for Xbox. However, the Halo team mentioned that they are looking for a solution to invite PC players to join. One of the main reasons why this test is so all-encompassing is that the team wants to see how well their servers can handle it.

There are multiple modes planned for the test. They include Total Control, Slayer, and Capture the Flag, and the game will take place on a single Fragmentation map. The beta tests will be held on October 1-3 and each of them will last four hours. If you have not been a part of the previous beta, you will be able to play through the content you have missed, which includes 4v4 Arena Slayer.

The schedule of the test:

  • October 1

Mode: Capture the Flag

Time: 10am-2pm and 5pm-9pm PT

  • October 2

Modes: Capture the Flag, Total Control

Time: 10am-2pm and 5pm-9pm PT

  • October 3

Modes: Capture the Flag, Total Control, Slayer

Time: 10am-2pm and 5pm-9pm PT

Halo Infinite is planned to be released on December 8, 2021, and the game will be available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and also PC. An interesting turn for the game is that its multiplayer mode will be offered as a standalone game that can be played for free.
