Call of Duty: Mobile Season 4 Spurned and Burned Details

So, the new season of Call of Duty: Mobile has started! It’s called Spurned and Burned, and it has a lot of additions, so both constant players and those who have left the game for some time will find something attractive to it. It’s about time you returned to the game to enjoy the news!

Welcome to the Dome

Yes, the iconic Dome map is finally here. Straight from Modern Warfare, it’s in the mobile game today. It features abandoned objects in the desert, like a military base, an office, and a control console. The map will be available for select game modes, like Team Deathmatch (isn’t that what you hoped for?), Domination, Search & Destroy, and some others.

A Little Less Stealth, A Little More Action

Probably the most impressive innovation is heartbeat sensor you can use to detect nearby enemies. With it, you can detect them at some distance and destroy with any weapon. But remember that it handicaps your own stealth as well. This may shift the balance toward straightforward action.

Another addition many players will appreciate is drones. Control a drone to kill an enemy from above… unless they notice and shoot your drone before it approaches.

New People and Unpeople

Among the new soldiers you can become (or oppose) now meet Alex the Bounty Hunter, Scylla the Dusted, and Scarlett Rhodes the Carmine. Along with them, there is – finally – a zombie mode. Not that it’s something new (most shooters have had zombies in their history), but for CoDM it’s definitely some diversity.

Clans, Gold, and Ranked Series

The new Clan Wars mode introduced in the new season is the main innovation, so come on and find yourself a clan if not yet. It will unlock new rewards and exclusive items for you, with clan currency introduced as a new sort of asset. Clan wars will last weekly, from Tuesday to Sunday. Another addition is “Capture the Gold” mode, in which a team needs to steal the gold from the opponent’s base and deliver it to their own. A little reviewed is also Battle Royale mode, with weapon lists updated a bit.

The most exciting, though, is the new Ranked Series 2. It’s preparing us for the upcoming World Championship 2021, and why not qualify?

Everyone Gets Theirs

As for new weapons, there are some too. The easiest one to get is MK2-Brushstroke rifle. If you prefer melee, you can enjoy ripping the enemies with the Sickle… if you win it. Also, there is a modular LMG that can be transformed into a short assault rifle or a carbine by simply replacing attachments. A new Legendary Calling Card you can get is Standoff at Dusk.

Lots of Little Things

In addition to all that, there are minor improvements, bug fixes, and minor rebalancing: snipers are buffed so they are better at long range and worse in close combat, for example, making them less versatile. These innovations will not be noticed directly, but they will also influence the gameplay, and you will certainly notice the difference. The season started on May 26 and will last until the special announcements.
