Call of Duty Warzone is catching up with the rest of the battle royale niche with its own Halloween event, The Haunting. The annual event is already live and features a fab gang of big-name cameos, including Ghostface from the Scream movie, Frank the Rabbit, and more.
Event Activities
In the Ghosts of Verdansk LTM, you can now become a Ghost and obtain unique abilities, such as teleport, super jump, and spectral blast. However, no weapons will be available for you if you choose this role.
If you play Black Ops Cold War, you can embark on the Hallow's Eve Outbreak challenge and try out the new Scream Deathmatch, Infected, and Prop Hunt Halloween. We recommend you to try the challenge first as it is a really difficult one with the strength of the enemies increasing every 2 minutes.
Rewards
The list of awards for this limited-time event includes:
- new blueprints;
- LAPA SMG;
- map updates;
- multiple other challenge-specific items.
How to Get The Ghostface Skin?
Currently, the only way to get the Ghostface skin from the Scream movie is to purchase the operator bundle. It includes the limited-edition skin as well as a bunch of accompanying items, such as:
- a cordless phone weapon charm;
- a new finishing move;
- a new wrist accessory;
- three weapon blueprints;
- a calling card;
- an emblem.
Frank the Rabbit skin is currently available for free.

The Haunting will last until November 2, so you can enjoy the horror event and unlock all the limited-time achievements without too much hurry. You can start playing it without the need to download any massive updates if you already have Black Ops Cold War or Warzone installed.
