Last Tuesday, Adobe released a host of software tools that will make 3D modeling much easier, which means video games, marketing companies and other consumers will be able to do their job even faster. Adobe is known for its leadership in presentation tools for creating high-quality 2D content. So, last month the company spent about $20 billion to acquire a promising software development company Figma.
Despite its success in the 2D field, Adobe has recently taken serious steps to dominate the 3D segment, which is primarily focused on creating video games. Also, this direction is extremely important for the development of the metaverse, which seems to be a very promising project in the future. Meanwhile, creating a 3D model is more of a challenge for artists, which is why Adobe recently released two useful tools designed to make the job of authors labor-intensive.
The second useful tool from Adobe was the ability to manipulate a 3D object both on a PC and switch to virtual reality mode to continue working with it there. This technology will combine the very creative component of the artist, like sculpting clay by hand, with the software precision of object corrections using a PC.
Thus, Adobe becomes a very strong player in the 3D animation development niche and offers innovative tools for the work of artists. It is difficult to overestimate the usefulness of such tools, so it remains only to wait for new ideas from the company's developers, who definitely correctly identified the development vector.
How do you like the ideas of Adobe developers for creating 3D models? How much do you think this will speed up the work of artists? Please share your opinion below.
